MSD ignition boxes ALLOWED - continue to allow MSD ignition boxes for now - Supply issues with other companies
8.1 Front clip and main frame 2”-inch x 3”-inch x .095” minimum. Any tube forward of front control arms maybe 2” inch X 2’ inch x .095” minimum.
8.2 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - Rear sub-frame rails 2”X2” X.090” and must extend around fuel cell. (Maybe mandatory in near future)
18.6 NELSON specialist/SRL harness or Quickcar Part Number #50-2053 spec wiring harness HIGHLY RECOMMENDED (Maybe mandatory in the future)
19.8 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED- Fuel cell must be mounted in a minimum structure of 1”x 1” square steel tubing with a minimum thickness of .065” (.000 tolerance). (Maybe mandatory in near future)
19.9 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED-The bottom support frame must be constructed using a minimum of two (2) straps, 1 1⁄2” x 0.125” minimum thick magnetic steel or 1”x 1” square steel tubing with a minimum thickness of .065” (.000 tolerance). These supports must be welded to the fuel cell front and rear cross members. The support straps must extend down the front and rear equally spaced and under the fuel cell container. (Maybe mandatory in near future)
RULE 24.7 has been updated in the rule book.
24.7. Minimum Crankshaft height: 10-inch, measure at crankshaft centerline
