LONDON, ON – For the second consecutive season, Spectra Premium Industries Inc. is set to be the title sponsor of the Canada Day weekend event at Delaware Speedway, round four on the 2019 schedule. In 2018, Brandon Watson scored the victory in the event after taking the lead late from Jake Sheridan. Jordan Sims, Treyten Lapcevich, and eventual 2018 champion JR Fitzpatrick rounded out the top five finishing positions in the race.
The event has proved to be crucial in seasons past as 50% of the time the race was won by a driver that would go on to win the APC Series championship, first by Andrew Gresel in 2016 and again in 2017 by Brandon Watson. The first ever APC Series event at Delaware Speedway was won by Jesse Kennedy on May 26th, 2015.
